Al Maha or Al Mourjan: verify the product, not just the name
Al Maha’s airport listing describes South and North locations and explicitly says their facilities differ. Your priority might be a shower or family space rather than lounge entry itself.
Find the correct branch
South locations are on level 2 behind Lamp Bear; the North lounge is also in the North Duty Free Plaza. Confirm which branch your booking admits before making the detour, and check the route back to your departure area.
Ask about the facility queue
Showers, reclining chairs and family or quiet areas are described as first come, first served. Entry does not reserve one of these facilities. If your connection is short, ask about current availability before purchasing a stay.
