Confirm baggage before arrival
Ask the originating airline whether the bag tag reaches the final destination. The airport’s transfer guide says through-checked bags do not need collection in Abu Dhabi. Do not apply that answer automatically to a separate booking with different baggage arrangements.
Check for an additional process
If your flight requires US pre-clearance, identify where and when you must report before booking a long lounge or room stay. A boarding gate on the flight screen is not the only deadline that can matter; follow the airline’s check-in and pre-clearance instructions.
Reserve time for the actual departure
Use local flight times in the planner and include the full route from the selected rest location. If a boarding pass, booking or bag issue remains unresolved, keep the plan simple until staff clarify it. Optional time should come after the required procedures are budgeted.
