At CDG, “Terminal 2” is not a precise enough location. YOTELAIR is in Terminal 2E, Hall L, inside the restricted transit area. It is not accessible to every CDG passenger.
Lounge & shower shortlist
Location and access come first. These are researched options, not an exhaustive directory. Use the linked operator for current availability and prices.
| Place & location | Access | Before you book |
|---|---|---|
| Extime Lounge Terminal 1 international / Terminal 2B–2D | Airside | Book the correct terminal location. Check your boarding pass, visit duration and shower conditions on the operator’s site. |
Extime locations do not cover every CDG departure
The operator lists Extime at Terminal 1’s international area and at Terminals 2B/2D. They are specific lounge locations, not an airport-wide pass.
Terminal 1 international
Match this product to a flight and route that allow access to the T1 international departure area. A passenger departing another terminal should not buy it on the assumption that all CDG airside areas are freely interchangeable.
Terminal 2B / 2D
Choose the location for that departure area and check the current admission conditions. The phrase “Terminal 2” in a search result is not sufficient: passengers in 2E or 2F need to investigate options appropriate to their actual flight.
Shower, family and stay-duration conditions
Check the exact product for shower availability, any supplement, child admission and the visit window. Do not infer those conditions from a different Extime lounge or a card-programme listing that uses the same brand name.
For an airline lounge, use the airline’s own eligibility information. A paid Extime reservation and airline lounge entitlement are different access routes.
Terminals & airport transfers
Choose the route for your itinerary. Public road directions do not describe restricted airport corridors.
CDG ↔ Orly · another airport
Rail connections or a road transferTransfer details
Orly is not a CDG terminal. Public transport combines airport rail or metro services: CDG is served by RER B, while Orly is served by Metro 14 and Orlyval. Use the regional journey planner for your date and exact terminal; include interchange walks, baggage and the next check-in deadline. A road route is available below as an alternative, subject to traffic.
T1 ↔ Roissypole / T3 ↔ T2
Free CDGVAL automated trainTransfer details
CDGVAL connects T1, PR parking, Roissypole, PX parking and T2. RATP lists trains from 04:00 to 01:00 and a bus replacement overnight. The Roissypole stop serves the T3 area; allow for the walk. CDGVAL is different from the restricted-area transfer route between 2E halls.
Terminal 2G needs another leg
N2 shuttle from 2F on the public sideTransfer details
RATP lists a free N2 shuttle between 2F and 2G. Reaching the CDGVAL Terminal 2 stop does not put you at 2G. Keep the full terminal and hall on your plan, then use your airline’s connecting-flight instructions if staying airside.
Know before you settle in
Storage is near the Terminal 2 rail station
Bagages du Monde lists luggage storage in the Terminal 2 TGV/RER station area, opposite the Sheraton. Use the operator’s current directions and airport signs: its published pages differ on the level number. Check opening and collection times before a Paris visit, and allow time to retrieve your luggage before security.
Official information ↗Checked 2026-10-20Air France connections with mobility needs
Air France’s SAPHIR programme supports passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. The airline asks for assistance requests when booking, at least 48 hours before departure, through its website or dedicated phone service. Include the CDG connection and any terminal change in your request; passengers on another carrier should arrange support with their own airline.

Access comes first. Select up to three places to compare. “Not verified” means we have not confirmed a feature; it does not mean the facility lacks it.
| Place & access | Bed / rest | Shower | Families |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extime Lounge ↗Terminal 1 international / Terminal 2B–2D · Airside | No private bed verified | Not verified — ask operator | Child admission and occupancy not verified |
| YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle ↗Terminal 2E · Hall L · Instant Paris area · Airside | Private cabin; family room category listed | Shower-only cabins offered; confirm availability | Family room listed; restricted transit access still applies |

Personal checklist & offline guide
Your personal checklist

Choosing a lounge at CDG
At CDG, “Terminal 2” is not a precise enough location. YOTELAIR is in Terminal 2E, Hall L, inside the restricted transit area. It is not accessible to every CDG passenger.
Compare the visit, not just the entry price
Open the linked listing for the location you can access. Check the admission route (airline, card, membership or paid booking), the permitted stay, child fees and whether capacity restrictions apply.
Need a shower rather than a long stay?
Ask whether a shower is included, separately paid or subject to a queue. A shower-only package can serve a different need from a full lounge visit. Leave enough time to reach your next gate afterwards.
Keep the right terminal in focus
YOTELAIR is at 2E Hall L, not in a public hotel zone. The operator’s arrival instructions and boarding-pass conditions determine whether you can reach it.
A few useful answers
What is the most common booking mistake at CDG?
YOTELAIR is at 2E Hall L, not in a public hotel zone. The operator’s arrival instructions and boarding-pass conditions determine whether you can reach it.
Can I use facilities in another terminal?
Keep the full terminal and hall designation for both flights. Terminal 2E includes K, L and M halls. Use the airport’s flight-connection instructions rather than walking toward a hotel based on its airport address.
Are opening hours and prices guaranteed?
No. Use the airport or operator’s current information for your travel date. Prices, availability and access rules may change.
Can I leave the airport during my connection?
A Paris excursion needs permission to enter France and a complete return plan. Check the airport’s ground-transport updates for your date; do not base the decision on a typical train time alone.
