LESS GUESSWORK. MORE TIME FOR YOU.

Build a better
layover

Turn the gap between flights into a realistic time budget. Start with your itinerary, then adjust the time you need for airport procedures.

01

Your connection

Use airport-local times (Asia/Singapore). For an overnight layover, select the next day. If the clocks change during your stay, confirm the elapsed time with your airline.

02

Your kind of pause

03

Protect your next flight

These editable allowances are planning assumptions, not the airport’s minimum connection time. Increase them for terminal changes, queues, children or assistance. Follow your airline’s earlier check-in and boarding deadlines.

Include the walk, shuttle wait and ride once. Do not count time already included in arrival or departure procedures.

Include station walks, waiting and a delay margin separately for each direction. Leave both at zero for a break already on your gate route. This tool budgets a layover at one airport; a change to another airport requires a separate ground-transfer plan.

The Skytrain links Terminals 1–3. Changi lists operation from 05:00 until 02:00; walking links remain the alternative outside those hours. Choose the correct side of immigration. A train passing through Jewel does not make Jewel accessible from transit.

T4 is not on the Skytrain network. Changi lists transit pickup points at T1 Gate C21, T2 Immigration Hall F and T3 Immigration Hall A, with through-checked itinerary conditions. Public shuttles follow a separate route. Allow for waiting, the ride, checks and walking to the gate; do not use a public walking route for an airside transfer.
